About Us

Maricopa Health Plan (MHP) is under new management by The University of Arizona Health Plans (UAHP).  UAHP is a Division of The University of Arizona Health Network (UAHN), with corporate headquarters in Tucson, Arizona and offices in both Tucson and Phoenix.  UAHN is a nonprofit corporation that supports the faculty doctors of the University of Arizona College of Medicine.  With more than 70 medical specialties and subspecialties, The University of Arizona Health Network has a history of meeting Arizona's medical needs.

Mission

The University of Arizona Health Plans supports the health care needs of its members and the educational and research mission of the Arizona Health Sciences Center (AHSC) through effective, socially responsible and economically viable administration of health plan programs.
